About BT
BT operates one of the largest UK consumer broadband and mobile networks, with the underlying Openreach access network used by many other ISPs.
How we check
Every 60 seconds we issue a single HEAD request to bt.com from a UK-cached origin and record reachability and latency. A reachable origin doesn’t guarantee the broadband or mobile network is fully healthy for end users — it’s an early signal, not an SLA monitor.
